Welcome to The Nancy and Frederick DeMatteis Arts Education Program for Children, featuring:
We are so proud to open the doors of this wonderful state-of-the-art facility to children throughout Suffolk County and beyond, encouraging them to step into the world of the performing arts – a place to come together, to connect, to share and to belong.
We hope that you believe, as we do, that when you bring the arts into children’s lives, you give them new ways to see the world, you nurture their imaginations, you teach them to value creativity as an intrinsic part of life. As audience members, children can discover the magic and the transformative powers of the performing arts; as participants, they can learn skills and awaken their talents in a place where teamwork, self esteem, problem-solving and creativity are encouraged and developed.
So bring your children to a live performance. Enroll them in a camp. Become a Member of the Children’s Theatre Arts Guild. Let your children discover a world of possibilities…in a place where the goal is to “engage, inspire, educate and entertain.”
See you at the theatre!
